We teamed up with Beautiful Together and donated $12,000 to help build a kitchen to help feed the orphans daily in the city of Korah, Ethiopia.

Korah, Ethiopia is one of the poorest communities in the world. This community was built around a large trash dump that people have used for years to find food and to scrap plastics for money. Recently, the government moved the trash dump in order to create energy from the trash. But the removal of the trash dump has meant that the people of Korah no longer have access to the trash dump in order to find scraps of food or trinkets to try and and sell to support themselves. Beautiful Together has been working to create a feeding center to try and feed as many children as possible. They recently asked for help in building a kitchen so that they could produce larger quantities of food at one time and store that food safely. The Soul Society (thanks to generous donations from people like you!) was able to donate $12,000 which was specifically used to begin building and outfitting a full kitchen for the community in Korah.
